HOW DO WE DO IT?

The Vive Process allows us to offer different levels of care based on your Physicians recommendation. From intensive inpatient care to intensive family out-patient programming and for those who need something in between.

HOSPITAL IN-PATIENT (ACTIVE RISK)

This is the most intensive level of care, offering 24-hour skilled nursing observation, daily interventions, and oversight from a team of mental health/psychiatric providers and professionals in order to provide safety and effective treatment of stabilization. In addition to traditional stabilization methods, Vive incorporates advanced Mind & Mood therapies—including ketamine treatment, TMS, and other holistic interventions—to support recovery from multiple angles. Inpatient hospitalization is short-term, designed to quickly reduce the most serious symptoms and prepare clients for a safe transition to the next level of care.

INTERMEDIATE SECURE (CONTINUED RISK)

Once clients have reached initial stabilization, they may step down into our highly specialized intermediate secure program. Here, they continue to receive 24-hour skilled nursing observation, daily oversight from psychiatric providers, and intensive treatment coordinated by the same treatment team. This level of care focuses on continued risk management, building resilience, and continued transitional treatment plans that prepare clients for longer-term recovery, while still maintaining a high degree of structure, safety, and support.

RESIDENTIAL MEDICAL CENTER (TRANSITIONAL PLANNING)

Our Residential Medical Center (RMTC) program is unique in the industry and offers the next step in recovery, with a strong focus on family involvement and thoughtful transition planning for each client’s next placement. Clients continue to receive daily engagement and close oversight from their therapists, providers, and treatment team, with the benefit of maintaining continuity of care from the inpatient setting. Access to a wide range of therapies—including our Mind & Mood treatment options—helps clients continue progress in a less restrictive environment. The RMC program balances intensive clinical care with a supportive, family-centered approach, ensuring that both clients and families are equipped for a safe and successful transition.

PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (STEP DOWN)

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an on-campus day program designed to provide structured treatment while helping families prepare for a smooth transition back home. Running Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the program allows clients to engage in daily groups, therapies, and activities without an overnight stay. This model gives families the reassurance of continued intensive support while gradually reintegrating home routines. Clients receive therapeutic structure, peer connection, and ongoing clinical guidance throughout the day—while families benefit from coaching and oversight that helps ensure the transition into the home environment is as safe, stable, and supportive as possible.
