Rather than focusing only on the immediate crisis, our multidisciplinary team works to identify the underlying causes of a teen’s emotional and behavioral challenges while helping families strengthen communication, build healthy coping skills, and prepare for long-term success.
By providing multiple levels of care within a single adolescent-only program, VIVE eliminates many of the disruptions caused by transferring between facilities. Teens benefit from consistent clinical oversight, seamless transitions between levels of care, and a coordinated treatment plan that supports healing from the first day of treatment through lasting recovery.

Vive Adolescent Treatment includes a dedicated inpatient psychiatric hospital for adolescents experiencing an acute mental health crisis, providing a safe and medically supervised first step in the recovery process. The initial focus is stabilization, where licensed psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals work together to help teens who may be experiencing severe depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, trauma-related symptoms, or other psychiatric emergencies.
Once a teen is medically and emotionally stabilized, Vive’s three-step treatment approach continues with a comprehensive psychiatric and psychological assessment followed by individualized treatment planning. This integrated model enables the clinical team to identify the underlying factors contributing to the crisis, develop a personalized evidence-based treatment strategy, involve the family throughout the process, and coordinate the most appropriate next level of care. By combining acute psychiatric hospitalization with thorough evaluation and seamless transition planning, Vive helps adolescents move from crisis stabilization toward lasting emotional health and long-term recovery.

Vive provides a safe, medically supervised environment where stabilization can begin immediately. This first stage of care is part of Vive’s integrated three-step clinical approach of stabilization, comprehensive assessment, and individualized treatment planning, allowing the clinical team to evaluate each teen’s unique needs, identify underlying mental health conditions, develop an evidence-based treatment strategy, and coordinate the most appropriate next level of care.
Licensed therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and experienced behavioral health professionals provide individualized care through psychiatric services, comprehensive assessments, individual and family therapy, group counseling, medication management, and skill-building designed to help teens heal and develop healthier coping strategies. Our goal is to help adolescents move from crisis to stability, strengthen family relationships, and return home with the emotional resilience, practical skills, and confidence needed for lasting recovery and long-term success.

Vive Adolescent Care is a specialized adolescent mental health treatment center providing short-term inpatient psychiatric care for teens experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Vive serves adolescents ages 12 to 17 with a comprehensive, medically supervised program designed to stabilize emotional and behavioral crises while helping families prepare for successful long-term recovery. The program is insurance-based and typically provides 14 to 30 days of intensive inpatient treatment focused on safety, assessment, stabilization, and individualized care planning.
