Proficient and Effective Care
We have created a unique three-step model of care that separates us from other treatment centers that efficiently stabilize, assess, and treat your child during their stay in our care.
Why a Teenage-Only Psychiatric Hospital?
When a psychiatric hospital treats only adolescents, it removes a source of harm that too often gets overlooked: exposure to adult patients in crisis. Teens admitted to mixed-age units can find themselves alongside adults experiencing severe psychosis, addiction withdrawal, or aggressive behavior, and that proximity can be frightening and destabilizing at a moment when a young person is already vulnerable.
VIVE Psychiatric Hospital's adolescent-only model eliminates that risk entirely, creating a therapeutic environment where every peer in the milieu is developmentally similar and every clinical program, from group therapy to daily structure, is built specifically around teenage cognitive and emotional needs rather than adapted from an adult framework. This matters clinically as well as emotionally: adolescents process trauma, express distress, and respond to treatment differently than adults, so a facility designed exclusively for their age group can calibrate everything from staff training to safety protocols to what actually helps teens heal.
For families weighing where to seek care, choosing a dedicated adolescent facility like VIVE means choosing an environment built for safety and belonging rather than one where a young patient must simply cope with fear and confusion alongside adults in very different stages of crisis. Your teen will receive the professional medical attention they need, have their issues clarified, and have a treatment plan specifically tailored to support their healing journey.

Our three-stage process approach maximizes treatment while minimizing the need for long-term residency, giving a diverse treatment plan that allows each child to grow and heal at their own pace while feeling comfortable at each level of care they are receiving.
We work primarily with youth between the ages of 12-17 who struggle with suicidal tendencies, self-harm, high levels of anxiety or depression, and other moderate to severe mental health issue
Our program is designed to meet the acute pyschiatric needs of adolescents who may be:
Dangerous to themselves or others
Unable to provide for their own health and safety
Behaviorally or emotionally dysfunctional
In need of diagnostic treatment services that can only be obtained in an inpatient setting
